Summary: The District has been a participant in the Memorial Choice program since June 1, 2018. Memorial Choice provides additional healthcare benefits and cost reductions to District health insurance plan participants. As an added supplement to the plan and for the benefit of all District employees, the District sought out a quote from Memorial for an Employee Assistance Program. Memorial has issued a proposal for this program at a cost of $18 per current healthcare plan subscriber. Total estimated cost for this program for 7 months (November 2019 through May 2020) is $19,110 and then $32,760 for the following plan year based on 1,820 plan subscribers.
