Summary: Consultant Agreement with Merrily A. Brome, MA, ABSNP with PESI, Inc. to provide professional development at Blessed Sacrament School on Classroom Management Strategies for the most challenging kids in a variety of school settings.

Merrily Brome, MA, ABSNP, is a nationally certified school neuropsychologist, who continues to maintain certification in both elementary and special education. She has been working in the education profession for 40 years, with experience at the pre-school through high school level.

She will present a full day in-service on February 20, 2020, to all faculty at Blessed Sacrament School. The total cost is $5,000 per day for up to 25 attendees.

Resolution: WHEREAS, Merrily Brome is qualified to provide training that aligns with Common Core State Standards and Blessed Sacrament's professional development plan to help all teachers improve student achievement in core content areas; and

WHEREAS, Merrily Brome has agreed to provide such training at a cost of $5,000; and

WHEREAS, Merrily Brome with PESI, Inc. services are completely reimbursable through the Title II grant;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the retention of consultants Merrily Brome, per the terms identified above and directs the Superintendent to execute the necessary documents on behalf of the Board.
